I don't think Ek is rooting for anyone. He has developed a complex model based on like 14 factors that correctly predicts winners like 60% of the time. If he has Vancouver playing .500 hockey and Boston finishing without any regulation losses then he's obviously seeing some factors others are missing!

How much faith can you put in a system that predicts 2 teams will play 83 games? You would think they would at least want to be accurate on predictions that have a guaranteed outcome 😂

As a blues fan I would love for them to get into the playoffs. They are not bad enough to get a top ten pick. Playoffs would only help the young kids on the team. Blues have too many inconsistencies in their game. They always get outshot and pp is lacking. It has turned around a bit since the coaching change but also has regressed. Binner can’t do everything himself. Though he certainly tries to sometimes. Blues were saved against the kings by Binner and a lucky bounce. The first goal. I love my team but damn. Have you looked at how many games Boston has gone into overtime? Of course they get those points.
